DEPTH SHADING LOWRANCE MAPS SOFTWARE

Just wanted to save someone else a little financial heart ache after opening software and thus making it NOT returnable. The custom shading was my entire reason for picking this up. It will work but the custom depth shading function will NOT. C-MAP reps and all sites I've seen stated this software is compatible with the Hook2 series however, that is only partially correct. I don't know when lowrance started packaging Precision Contour maps in C-map Reveal packages.Д¬omments: Learned this one the hard way. Told me it was the map I ordered and refused to make my purchase up. Sent them a picture of the packaging and problem with the map. Was very disappointed with the map and customer service. The contour lines were not the same also the map had green areas on parts of the lake. Had previously purchased a Precious Contour map for another unit on the front of my boat. Didn't notice this until I tried using the map in my unit. Received the map package in a C-mapReveal package.
